Mushroom Violet and Teal Silk Velvet Ikat

This silk velvet ikat is hand-woven in Uzbekistan. Since ikat fabrics are traditionally woven on very narrow looms, this pillow has been seamed on the two ends so the fabric can be enjoyed over a larger pillow. The beautiful sheen and coloration of the silk velvet has a showy, peacock-like quality.
