18th Century Northern European Trestle Table

A Northern European trestle table with an extraordinary top made of one plank of wood with unique graining movement. The 1 1/4" thick top is gracefully beveled on the underside so the reveal on each side is 1" thick. The two legs are notched into the top with one stretcher that spans the width of the table at the bottom. The legs and feet have mortise and tenon joints. A waxed finish with a beautiful, original patina. The table is perfect for a kitchen or dining table size and can sit 6 comfortably. Great condition.
